Conflict in graduate studies – Need help, support, or advice?
Despite the best intentions and preparations, the path towards successful completion of graduate studies can sometimes be difficult. Some of the more common challenges are those involving academic, financial, supervisory relationships, or personal issues.
In an ongoing effort to support graduate students dealing with conflict, harassment, discrimination, or stress, SGS has collaborated with UTGSU to create Conflict Resolution in Graduate Studies: A Guide to Help and Support. This guide was designed to help you access information and support if you are dealing with – or concerned about – conflict in graduate studies. The questions in the guide will help you navigate to the person, office, information, or resource that can best support you and your situation.
We invite you to explore the guide on our website. Keep in mind that you can also contact the staff at our new Centre for Graduate Mentorship and Supervision for confidential, personalized support.
