Connect directly with a CIE immigration advisor for guidance and answers to any questions that you may have about study permits, work permits, entry visas, and other types of applications to IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).

Please note that this will be a group drop-in session and any information you provide about your personal situation will be in a group setting. Therefore, if you have questions of a confidential/private nature that require privacy, please book a one-on-one appointment with one of the advisors.

Service Canada Social Insurance Number (SIN) Info Session
Are you an international student who has just arrived in Toronto or hopes to arrive soon? Did you know that a Social Insurance Number (SIN) is needed in order to work in Canada or to have access to certain Canadian government programs and benefits?
Service Canada is hosting a live webinar for international students to learn about their programs and services, including the issuance of Social Insurance Numbers. Service Canada staff will walk us through the process of applying for a SIN online and will also provide an overview of Service Canada programs, services and available benefits.
