What is the Neurodivergent at University Project?
This project seeks to feature six neurodivergent students to understand their different experiences at the university. Working in partnership, Accessibility Services and the Innovation Hub seek to share the individual stories of six neurodivergent students in a documentary short that will be shared with the university community and beyond. Documentary participants will share their stories through video diaries, voiceovers, and vlogs of their day-to-day lives, providing commentary on their unique experiences and journeys. By highlighting the experiences of neurodivergent students, the goal is to inspire conversations about more inclusive practices to support diverse students across the University of Toronto.
Why should you participate?
By participating, you’ll have the opportunity to share your story as a neurodivergent student at U of T, but also get the chance to:
-
Be part of a project that will inspire future initiatives to support neurodivergent students
-
Receive a $500 honorarium as a thank you upon project completion
