Call for 2019-20 GSAC members

Five (5) openings are currently available on the Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC). All interested graduate students in research-stream and professional programs are welcome to apply!

What is the role of the GSAC?
To provide advice and recommendations to the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies on University-wide graduate student matters, including those related to academic programs, student experiences, student support, graduate student professionalization, graduate research, and any other matters that the Dean may bring to the committee for input.

Members may also discuss and/or recommend to the Dean new initiatives and improvements to current practice in graduate education, graduate research, and the graduate student experience at the University of Toronto.

SGS is seeking membership from a broad graduate student population that includes students from all three campuses, all divisions, and both master’s and doctoral programs, as well as students from underrepresented groups.
