Call for applications: Graduate Speaker Series

Do you want to practice presenting your academic work? Would you like to share your research with colleagues outside your own department? The Centre for Graduate Professional Development at SGS is looking for graduate students to participate in a new, cross-disciplinary, in-person speaker series this year.

If you’re selected as a presenter, we’ll help you prepare your talk, and you’ll co-headline an in-person presentation and discussion with another speaker from a different graduate unit. Works in progress are welcome, and the format of the talk is up to you. The goal of this speaker series is to provide an opportunity for you to talk about your academic work in way that will build your capacity to communicate in multidisciplinary spaces. This is a unique opportunity to add to your CV and reach an academic audience outside your program.

This invitation is open to graduate students in professional and research-stream programs at UTM, UTSC and the St. George campus. Apply now!
