You will leave the session with practical tools and strategies to take action on your career goals.

 Grad Career Educator AMA – Interviews (Online)

August 15, 1:00-1:30 p.m.

This Ask Me Anything (AMA) session for master’s and PhD students and postdocs will focus on how to effectively prepare for job interviews. The Graduate Career Educator from Career Exploration & Education will answer your questions and direct you to additional resources on best practices for job interview preparation.

 Navigate Your Career in Academia: An Overview of the Academic Job Search (Online)

August 16, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

This workshop is aimed at PhD students and postdoctoral fellows interested in pursuing careers as university faculty. The session will provide a general overview of the academic job search process, including types of positions, hiring timelines, and components of the academic dossier. You will gain a better understanding of what to expect when applying for academic positions and will leave with resources to support you as you prepare your application documents.

Career Co-Working & Accountability Space: Maintain Career Momentum (Online)

August 20, 2-4 p.m.

This is a small group session for master’s and PhD students and postdocs to provide structured accountability to move forward with your career goals. Whether you are just beginning to explore career options or are actively applying for jobs, you will have support to maintain momentum or get unstuck.

Work Study Information Session for Students with Disabilities (Online)

August 30, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

In the Work Study Information Session for students registered with Accessibility Services and/or students with a disability, we will provide an overview of the work study program and how to apply for work study jobs.
