Apply for the SGS Sponsorship Fund by Feb. 28
Design an event, draft a budget to support your plans, and show how you can significantly engage graduate students and/or postdoctoral fellows as collaborators and participants!
The SGS Sponsorship Fund supports two types of initiatives designed, led, and attended by graduate students and/or postdoctoral fellows at U of T:
- The SGS Events Fund offers up to $2,000 to support the planning and implementation of an event at U of T. Priority will be given to proposals that cultivate mental health awareness, engage with stigma against mental illness, and/or promote positive mental health.
- The SGS Innovation in Graduate Professional Development Fund invites proposals for the development of new or expanded Graduate Professional Development initiatives. SGS will provide up to $1,000 to successful proposals. Examples of activities supported by this Fund include: organizing a career development seminar series, developing an alumni engagement or speaker series, creating a professional skills workshop for grad students and/or postdocs, and more.
SGS is currently accepting proposals for the February 28 deadline.
