Advance your industry-relevant skills, innovation and network in the biomanufacturing sector
Biomanufacturing Hub Network (BioHubNet) is a CBRF-funded training initiative to help highly qualified personnel (HQP) build skills and connections to transition and succeed in the biomanufacturing sector. We offer training and funding support to HQP (graduate students, postdocs, research associates and laboratory technicians) in science or engineering programs under the following BioHubNet programs:
- EQUIP provides targeted funding support to help trainee entrepreneurs advance their academic innovations to market-ready solutions through two grants – the VentureConnect Grant (up to $5,000) for early-stage innovators build industry connections and the VentureLift Grant (up to $25,000) to support critical commercialization milestones – applications are currently open.
- ENGAGE provides a curated curriculum of training courses that are designed to help HQP acquire critical competencies required in the industry. Eligible HQPs can apply for training credits (worth up to $5,000) to access these courses. ENGAGE also provides networking and mentorship opportunities, along with an annual conference where HQPs can connect with industry leaders.
- EXPERIENCE offers hands-on learning through industry internships and cross-disciplinary academic exchanges. BioHubNet facilitates these opportunities, offering funding support through partners like Mitacs.
