2024 Adel S. Sedra Distinguished Graduate Award recipient

Congratulations to Natasha Sheikhan the 2024 recipient of the Adel S. Sedra Distinguished Graduate Award!

This award was established in 2002 to recognize the remarkable contributions of a doctoral student who demonstrates outstanding academic and extracurricular leadership both within and outside of the university. Natasha is a PhD student in the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME). Her PhD is focused on creating a reporting guideline for patient and family engagement in mental health research. She is currently collecting data and interviewing patients, families and researchers to understand their experience with reporting on engagement activities and how it can be improved.
