2023 Adel S. Sedra Distinguished Graduate Award Recipient

Congratulations to  Sara Ahmed, the 2023 recipient of the Adel S. Sedra Distinguished Graduate Award! 

This award was established in 2002 to recognize the remarkable contributions of a doctoral student who demonstrates outstanding academic and extracurricular leadership both within and outside of the University. Sara is a MD/PhD student in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. Her PhD is focused on investigating the applications of nanomedicine in cancer treatment. Her research aims to enhance drug delivery to tumours, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and quality of life. Read more.
