In this workshop, you will learn how to apply your research skills to explore career options and all aspects of the job search process from networking to creating job application materials and interviewing.

Work on Your Career: Co-working and Accountability Space (online)
January 15, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Join our small co-working group sessions designed to help you focus on career-related activities in a supportive environment. A co-working group is a shared online environment where individuals work alongside each other while benefiting from the presence and energy of others.

Cultivate Your Career Community of Support in Academia & Beyond (in-person)
January 22, 3-4:30 p.m.

This in-person session is a space to explore cultivating a community of support for both academic and non-academic careers. If you find networking tricky or complicated, this is the session for you.

Grad Career Educator AMA – Interviews (online)
January 28, 3-3:30 p.m.

This Ask Me Anything (AMA) session will focus on how to effectively prepare for job interviews. The Graduate Career Educator from Career Exploration & Education will answer your questions and direct you to additional resources on best practices for job interview preparation.

Mondays and Thursdays starting January 13, 1-4 p.m.

Career Support Drop-ins provide opportunities to engage in career conversations in community with other students seeking career support from Peer Career Advisors and Career Educators.

Job Shadowing Orientation (online and in-person)

This workshop is an information and training session for the Job Shadowing program. In this workshop, you will learn about how to apply to the program and optimize your job shadowing experience.

Navigating Career Decisions with Confidence (in-person)
January 15, 2-4 p.m.

In this workshop, you’ll explore different approaches to decision-making and common challenges related to making career decisions and planning.

Career Pathways Series for Neurodivergent Students (hybrid)
starts January 28, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Career Pathways series is a six-week career learning program designed to support participants who identify as neurodivergent as they develop career goals, learn strategies for navigating the jobs search process, and explore what it is they may want to do next after graduation.

Dream Job Academy (in-person)
Fridays, January 31 to March 7, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Dream Job Academy is an arts-based learning program designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and what’s important to you, as you explore career areas of interest. Over the course of 6 sessions, we will use arts, narrative and play-based activities to explore career related themes.
