Connect and engage with the Black Graduate Students’ Association (BGSA)

If you’re a Black graduate student at U of T looking for a supportive community and meaningful connections, BGSA is here for you! Since 2018, BGSA has been a space for Black grad students to engage in meaningful conversations, celebrate Black culture and build lasting connections.

Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting events and initiatives that are all about fostering community, sharing experiences and supporting each other. Whether you’re interested in social events, cultural celebrations or just finding a network of fellow Black grad students, BGSA is the place to be. You can come meet us in person at the UTGSU GradFest on September 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. on Bancroft Avenue. Stop by to learn more about what we have planned and how you can get involved.

Get Involved! BGSA elections open now

We’re also currently recruiting for a Treasurer and a second Event Coordinator. If you’re interested in joining the executive team to manage finances or help plan and organize events that bring our community together, we’d love to have you on board! Submit an application by September 13 at 11:59 p.m.

Join the BGSA and be part of a vibrant community that celebrates, supports and empowers you! Sign up for our mailing list and be sure to follow us on InstagramX (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
