Mandatory First Appointment TA Training- Sept. 2023

Are you a new Teaching Assistant (TA)? Are you exploring teaching training options at the University of Toronto? TAs are entitled to 4 hours of mandatory paid training, and paid professional development. The Teaching Assistants’ Training Program (TATP) has several options for first contract teaching training: centralized in-person and online sessions, asynchronous modules, and more. TAs can contact their hiring department for information on which training sessions they can attend.
