Summer 2022 SGS Conference Grant

The SGS Conference Grant provides financial support to cover at least the minimum registration fee for eligible students who are actively presenting their research – in-person or virtually – at an academic conference during the early stages of their graduate studies. 

The Summer 2022 application is now open must be completed online by applicants and their supervisors/advisors before 4:30pm on July 29, 2022.

Summer 2022 SGS Travel Grant

The SGS Research Travel Grant supports PhD students in Humanities or Social Sciences for whom research travel (e.g., fieldwork, consultation of specialists, or consultation of primary or secondary sources, etc.) to sites either within or outside Canada is required in order to complete their dissertation. Starting with the 2022 summer session, the travel grant application will be made available in each academic session. 

The Summer 2022 application is now open and must be completed online by applicants and their supervisors/advisors before 4:30pm on July 29, 2022. Don’t miss this great funding opportunity!
